Yeah, so I saw this Taruto picture Monty Python* had done. I loved the way she coloured it, so I decided to try that way as well. It didn't work, but I still like the result.
...And I was reminded why I hate computer colouring.
But anyway, I still like the effect of softening and blurring the shading and highlighting. The colours I went with are from a manga image, thus her hair and skin are a bit closer than normal in terms of colour.
